This work was previously in the collection of Shari Lewis, the Peabody-winning American puppeteer and author who entertained and educated children on a series of television shows for over 40 years. During her career, she created and voiced a series of sock puppets, most notably the woolly character named Lamb Chop who would follow her throughout her career and later star in her show Lamb Chop's Play-Along.
